Game Design

Probably the first thing I ever thought of.

Any gamer out there would probably have some kind of idea for their very own game, after playing tons of video games for years.Easier said than done.

I,too,am able to simulate various games in my mind: the scene, graphics, user interface, customization and much, much more. This had led me to searching for game making softwares. The first ever software I found and used was Unity3D.

Initially,I was very excited to start creating my own 3D game. But,that enthusiasm died out fast as soon as I realised how complicated making a 3D game was.Of course,I did look up several tutorials and did manage to make some 'progress'.Yet,those were only the simplest of basics. Then,I discovered my biggest nemesis in game making: scripting.Scripting has got to be the most complicated yet vital s**t in game making. It's what brings out the creativity in games, but is the hardest to learn, especially since I have ZERO knowledge on such stuff.Even after months of trying out and learning scripting,I foundd myself facing too many obstacles in the process, and soon realised how utterly complicated scripting was.Up till now,I am still struggling, maybe on the verge of giving up too...

Why did I even want to make games?Simple.Like i what mentioned earlier, being a gamer myself,I ahve been inspired to create my very own fun and engaging games that would escalate in popularity. Some of my favourite games include BioShock Infinite and Final Fantasy(any series).Although game making in Singapore does not seem to earn people much money,I believe that it's the enjoyment and achievements that count.

I certainly hope that I can create a successful game one day and,if possible, earn a great deal of money from doing what I enjoy, since I love coming up with game ideas.
